Thirdly, concerning my suggestion, I originally thought that simply adding a function that would automatically change the text and form to appear different to each reader, making it possible to learn the contents in a way that keeps the reader safe and explaining everything in a way that is tailored to the learning methods of the reader (perhaps even the term reader is incorrect, since such a function would remove the necessity of reading ability, sight, or even the capacity to interact with matter) would suffice, but then I thought of another possibility.
That possibility is the ability to automatically translate other texts, and data storage formats in general. Considering that the purpose of the Compendium is the spread of knowledge, (at least, that is what it seems to me) then it would make sense, and breaking down language barriers would certainly help everyone in Existence. However, I stumbled upon a problem: mind reading. If the avatar of the Compendium can translate all information, then surely it can translate data stored in DNA, the brain or any analog to it, and so on, with no degree of mortality or power stopping it. One could add a clause that sapience or sentience would prevent the Compendium from translating it, but then information could be hidden from the Compendium easily.
I was going to scrap the idea, but then I realised that it is already implemented. The Compendium knows everything, and as such, even an avatar of it can read minds, and be used offensively. One could argue that it would be too difficult to find that information in the Compendium or avatar of it, but the Compendium probably has a search engine or thought scanning to make searching for information easier, as otherwise it would be useless. (Note; add that to services at some point.)
All in all, my question is this: is it true that an avatar of the Compendium, or the Compendium itself, can be used as a perfect mindreading device?
Can it be used as a perfect precognitive device, capable of seeing the future and, if possible, the correct method to changing it?
Can the avatar of the Compendium give information about someone or something from another universe, if that subject currently resides in the universe of the avatar?
And is it right that the avatar or Compendium itself is used in such ways, considering that it is meant to aid all?
