Date of Session: January 8th, 2021

Level Reached: 3
Dungeon Master: Juli
Players: Adrian, Cain, Victor
Player Characters: Amadeus Bosch, Felid, Li Xie-Li

The party meets Zenobia Shadowdusk, a member of the disgraced noble family, the House of Shadowdusk. She is revealed to have been the woman in a purple dress that Luthienye has been gambling with, and approaches the party after becoming impressed with their skills after witnessing the bar fight with Barnaby the dragonborn, Criss the human, and Mafrilde the dwarf. Zenobia offers them a job to descend into a megadungeon called Undermountain to find an artifact called The Lifeblood Pendulum and bring it back to her to receive a reward of fifty platinum pieces each. The party is suspicious but chooses to accept the job, reasoning that if they don't do it, she will simply find someone else who would most likely be less capable than them. Delighted, Zenobia pays them twenty-five platinum pieces upfront as incentive to complete the job and in order to help them afford the supplies they would need for the journey, hands them a token with the crest of the Shadowdusk family, and departs. The party discusses what they will need to buy.

Major Characters Introduced:

Non-Player Characters:

From left to right: Zenobia Shadowdusk

Session Log:

The Narrator:
The woman in the purple dress who Luthienye has been seen gambling with walks over to your group and looks on upon the unconscious bodies of Barnaby and Mafrilde, the dragonborn and dwarf who antagonized you all at the bar, as if admiring your handiwork.

???: "Wow, that was a spectacle alright. I haven't seen a barfight like that for a while, especially not here."

Amadeus Bosch:
“You’ll have to tell me about it later.”

Xie Li:
"I don't think anyone's been to a barfight where two people fall asleep in the middle of it."

Felid:
"Kitty is right."

Amadeus Bosch:
“And whose fault is that?”

Felid:
"Felid help though!!"

Xie Li:
"IN MY DEFENSE. I thought the dragon guy would sleep too."

The Narrator:
The woman chuckles. "No, I suppose not. Say, you look like a gang of capable adventurers, cliche though that may sound. Would you all happen to be interested in a job? Bit spur of the moment, I know."

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus is skeptical. “What’s so capable about a misfired spell?”

Xie Li:

The Narrator:
"Well, a misfired spell is a spell at all. You don't often see a man who can do magic. It's not something the average person has the aptitude for."

Xie Li:
"Uh, I'm not a man, I'm a cat. Amewdeus is man though!"

Felid:
"Job?"

Amadeus Bosch:
"Fair point. And I do admit a bit of extra money does sound nice."

The Narrator:
"Yes, tall one, a job. And that reminds me; introductions are in order. My name is Zenobia Shadowdusk. By the looks of things, you've met Luthienye already; she's an old friend."

Luthienye laughs. "If by old friend you mean someone who gambles you out of house and home on the daily, then sure."

The other woman's eye twitches but she continues. "Anyways, I'm sure you've heard of me? Or at least, you've heard of my family."

Xie Li:
"I'm mew in town, so I'm gonna say no I have not."
"What nyabout you, Amewdeus?"
[XIE LI is LYING.]

Amadeus Bosch:
"Oh?" Amadeus' interest is piqued.
"Forgive me for my bluntness, but it has been a while since I have heard of your family. How have you been faring now?"

Felid:
"felid no know."

Xie Li:
"It's okay Felid, sometimes it's better not to."

Amadeus Bosch:
"Oh, don't be rude. She's right there you know."

The Narrator:
Zenobia: "Oh you know, you win some, you lose some. My family has put its dark history behind us, but it's still a bit hard to go around in Waterdeep proclaiming to be a Shadowdusk. We've lost much of our wealth, but I can assure you there's still plenty to go around in terms of rewarding you for the job I'm about to offer you."

Xie Li:
"Knowing things is what made you a priss Amewdeus. That's why I'm stupid and nice."

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "Ooh, they called you a priss. What're you gonna do about that?" she snickers.

Amadeus Bosch:
"I don't believe you're either, Xie."
Amadeus sighs.
"Getting to the point: What exactly is the job and reward you are offering us?"

Xie Li:
"AW YOU DON'T THINK I'M STUPID?"

[XIE LI wraps AMEWDEUS in a BIG KITTY HUG. For SPITE reasons.]

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus resists the urge to elbow Xie Li in the gut, if only for appearance's sake. Instead he goes as stiff as he can, making the hug unpleasant for the both of them.
"I don't think you're nice either, for the record."

Xie Li:
"Felid disagrees. Right Felid?"

Felid:
"felid think you are both nice."

Xie Li:
"See?"

Amadeus Bosch:
"Xie Li is perfectly capable of being selectively nice."

The Narrator:
Nadredda: "Nadredda alsso believess Xie Li iss nice. Oh by the way, I am here. I wass jusst lisstening while polisshing glasssses."

Xie Li:
"Aw shucks, you think I'm capable too. I'm blushing."

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus looks towards Nadredda, silently hoping she'll give him an out that doesn't involve sliding out of Xie Li's hug and onto the floor.

Felid:
"no more fight. we talk about job? what is job"

Xie Li:
"Aw we're not fighting. Does this look like fighting? I think it looks like a hug."

[XIE LI is also PERFECTLY CAPABLE of GASLIGHTING.]

The Narrator:
Zenobia: "Yes, the job, sorry. I was waiting for you all to be done." she clears her throat.

Xie Li:
[XIE LI gently places AMADEUS back on the FLOOR so they can LISTEN TO ZENOBIA.]

The Narrator:
Zenobia: "I'm sure you've all heard of a place called Undermountain? Well, actually, I'm only sure at least one of you has, the rest of you seem to be new here… anyways, Undermountain. Everyone who's lived in Waterdeep for more than ten minutes knows about it. It's a large dungeon built underneath most of Waterdeep, which used to house an ancient kingdom of dwarves and then was the domicile of infamous archmage Halaster Blackcloak, but that all is besides the point."

Zenobia: "I have reason to suspect an item of great power is located within Undermountain. The dungeon has fallen into disrepair over the past few decades, but most of its topmost floor is still accessible… I myself have not been in there, but I know the way in. There's a tavern called The Yawning Portal which houses one of the most wellknown entrances into Undermountain."

Zenobia: "I want you all to go there and find an item called… The Lifeblood Pendulum. It looks fairly simple; just a red crystal hanging from a golden chain necklace, but its power can promise one life eternal. Your reward will be the handsome sum of 50 platinum pieces each, and good favor with the house of Shadowdusk. Any questions?"

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus' instinct was to immediately say yes, no questions asked, but one thing stuck out to him.
"Life eternal?"

Xie Li:
“Living longer won’t make mew anymore taller.”

Amadeus Bosch:
Interrupting Xie Li, he says "What's your purpose in finding this Lifeblood Pendulum?"

Felid:
"if pendulum promise life eternal, why no one use?"

The Narrator:
Luthienye perks up at Zenobia speaking and says: "Say, this job offer sounds pretty good. It would be a much easier way of making a quick buck rather than gambling it out of you. Am I allowed to participate?"

Zenobia scowls at Luthienye and says: "You've already cheated me out of so much of my wealth, and still you want more? Fine, you may participate if you so desire, but you will get only half of the rewards, Luthienye."

Xie Li:
“Is it cursed.”

Amadeus Bosch:
"I believe it being housed in a large, dilapidated dungeon is enough reason for caution. For all we know this is a veritable death sentence."

The Narrator:
Zenobia: "Oh yes, it will not be easy. Few who venture into Undermountain make it out alive, which is exactly why I haven't bothered doing so myself or asking a random guy on the street to do it. But you lot show an aptitude for survival and holding your own that most folks frankly do not. Just in case, however, may I get all of your names? So I know which ones to look out for when people are gossiping about who's died recently."

Xie Li:
[XIE LI distrusts this WOMAN 2000%.]

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus can't help but laugh.
"Why not pay us upfront, then?"

Xie Li:
"Dummy if we're dead when we get in the dungeon then what's the use of paying us? Also we wouldn't be able to use it."

The Narrator:
Zenobia: "Well, I'm not going to give away…" she pauses for a moment and stops to count. "250 platinum pieces to some people who aren't guaranteed to survive. Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned the deadly part of this equation… I do have a habit of running my mouth."

Felid:
"Felid no die."

Amadeus Bosch:
"It's motivation. And who's to say the zombies and whatnot inhabiting the dungeon don't have some lovely underground shops?"

Xie Li:
[XIE LI contemplates the IDEA OF A ZOMBIE MOLEMAN SWORD.]
"But, like, we can't predict whether or not we die. Who's to say we don't get in there and some giant bugbear absolutely throttles us."

[XIE LI does not mean to be so AGAINST THE IDEA OF BEING PAID NOW, but he is SUSPICIOUS.]

Amadeus Bosch:
"Then she can send another band of adventurers down to loot our corpses."
Amadeus is highly suspicious. He may have dealt with an eldritch being himself, but that just means he's only more suspicious of those who had done so openly, even if it has been a little over a century and a half.

The Narrator:
Zenobia: "Oh, that actually would've been a good idea… my dear sir, you have the mind of an evil genius."

Xie Li:
"Yeah Amewdeus. Evil genius."

Felid:
"Evil…"

The Narrator:
Zenobia: "But anyways, I digress. Let's settle on a compromise then; I can pay you all half of the money upfront, and you can use that to purchase yourselves better gear somewhere in the city if you like. Some potions perhaps? And I can give you a contact that could aid you in your travels into Undermountain… but I didn't ask them ahead of time, hm…"

Amadeus Bosch:
"Why must I constantly be ganged up on…I have done nothing to deserve this."

Xie Li:
"May we have an aside, Miss Shadow… somethin."

The Narrator:
Zenobia: "Of course, take as much time as you need. I understand I've just put a lot on your plates."

Amadeus Bosch:
"Yes, please, thank you. I would like to talk about this further."
He ushers Felid and Xie Li to the back of the bar.
"I do believe she's highly suspect."

Xie Li:
"Yeah no DUH. I very recently heard a story about one of that lady's cousins or uncles or something tried to do some weird blood thing with a couple pigeons and a tea pot!"
"I didn't wanna say anything, but I do NOT want to be put in a giant teapot!"

Amadeus Bosch:
"That may have not been necessarily true, but her family had been involved with those of the Far Realm some centuries ago. I'm sure I don't have to explain to you why dealing with eldritch beings is generally frowned upon."

Xie Li:
"Yeah. That's probably why it was a weird blood thing!"

Amadeus Bosch:
"Of course, I can't say that the offer doesn't sound tempting. Fifty platinum and a chance to leave my library, as much of a homebody I may be…" Amadeus muses. It's not like he values any of their lives much at all, even his own. Worst-case scenario, they die and Zenobia has to find other people to accomplish her goal.

Felid:
"hmmmmmmmmmm"

Xie Li:
"What if it's cursed and we touch and like. I burst into green beans?"

Felid:
"if we no do offer she offer someone else though?"

Xie Li:
[It dawns on XIE LI that FELID has now made this an ETHICAL DILEMMA.]
"Like… the cart problem."
"Where you're steering a carriage and the horse is going way too fast and you can either hit that one vagrant or several innocent peasants."
"Damn."

Felid:
"hmmmmm."

Xie Li:
[XIE LI loves PEOPLE TOO MUCH.]

"Alright, I guess I'm for it," he sighs reluctantly. "Rather it be me than some other poor guy. What do you two think?"

Felid:
"felid think we should."

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus nods. It almost makes him feel bad that their reasoning is so different than his; the fact that they're willing to die just so someone else doesn't.
"Shall we go and tell her we accept, then?"

Xie Li:
[XIE LI makes a face]

"Urrrghghhhhhh. Yeah I guess."

Amadeus Bosch:
"So is the burden of having a heart."

Xie Li:
"Nyehhh."
[XIE LI purrns back to ZENOBIA and NUDGES AMEWDEUS IN FRONT of HIM]

Felid:
"Having heart is good. Not bad."

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus shakes his head as both Felid and Xie Lie hide behind him. That's what he gets for being the outspoken one, he thinks.
"We have decided to take up your offer. Half of the payment upfront, and a contact to help us get into the Undermountain, correct?"

The Narrator:
Zenobia: "I am so pleased to hear that. Yes, yes, of course." and she pulls out a pouch and fishes around for a while, and continues talking. "When you get to the Yawning Portal, ask for Koun. Tell them Zenobia sent you, and that you'd like passage into Undermountain."

She eventually procures the required money and hands 25 platinum pieces to Xie Li, Amadeus, Felid, and Nadredda. She hands 12 to Luthienye, hesistantly.

"Do be careful with that. It's only half of what I offered, but it's still nothing to scoff at. That's why I keep all my money in platinum; so there's less conspicuous clinking."

Xie Li:
[XIE LI examines the PLATINUM PIECES.]

"Clever."

Amadeus Bosch:
"Thank you very much." He drops the pieces in his bag after a second of consideration. He could get someone to test their authenticity later, before they used them.
"I suppose now we should head to down and get us some supplies. Any recommendations?"

The Narrator:
Zenobia stops and thinks for a while. "If you just want some basic supplies like food, maybe rope or other such adventuring gear, you can probably find trade goods such as that in the market right here in the Castle Ward. Additionally, if you're looking for magic items, there's a wizard named Aurora who has a magic shop somewhere around here, and if you just want some weapons and armor, there's an armorer nearby. There's also Phalantar's Philtres and Components, where you'll find potions and rare herbs or minerals that you might need for spellcasting."

Zenobia: "Oh, and one more thing before you go—"
she hands Amadeus a small token that easily fits in the palm of his hand.
"Take this, keep it on you. Put it in your back pocket or something. Think of it as… insurance. Good luck!"

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus holds the coin curiously in his hand, holding it up to the light and turning it around. Later he'll have to try and research what it is, because he can't seem to recognize what exactly it is besides being an expensive decorative token.

Xie Li:
[XIE LI lowers his VOICE.]

"What the heck is thattttttttttt."

Felid:
"Is food?"
"Look like a little biscuit."

Amadeus Bosch:
"I regret to say I'm not sure." He whispers back.

"Though I don't doubt that I'll find record of it somewhere. If we have time, we likely can stop by a jewelry store or the like."

Xie Li:
"If that thing is magic, it must be concealed pretty well. Can't tell."
"What if we ate it. Would you explode."

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "I don't think you should eat a decorative token. Anyways, shall we get going? I understand the three of you wanted to go shopping, so where to first?"

Amadeus Bosch:
"I'm not going to eat it. I'm sure you know how the digestive system works."

Xie Li:
"Wait did that Shadowdork lady tell us how long we might be in there."
"I think we should prioritize food over weapons."

Amadeus Bosch:
"I would bargain quite a while. Undermountain spans nearly the whole city."

Xie Li:
"Oh fish."

Amadeus Bosch:
"So, food, water, and sleeping bags are likely our main priority."

Xie Li:
"Okay so worst case scenario: we get stuck under the mountain. What do we need, any specifics?"
"Bold of you to nyassume I won't be your sleeping bag."

The Narrator:
Nadredda hops over the bar counter and runs to join you guys. "Issn't thiss exciting? Our firsst legitimate adventure ass friendss. We're going into dungeon!" she turns and hollers back into the tavern. "ASSTER! RESSSSA! Find ssomebody elsse to doing Nadredda'ss job, I am leaving on a quesst! Goodbye and I may not be back!"

Felid:
"Food, water. Is good to have something like a camp. Yes."
"Fire."

Xie Li:
"YES NADREDDA I LOVE YOU. EVERYONE I LOVE NADREDDA."
[XIE LI says "everyone" when he really means just the four of them.]

Amadeus Bosch:
"Fire may be dangerous. I am unsure how good the ventilation is, considering we are underground."

Xie Li:
"I can cast a light spell. Maybe we should think of something along the lines of jerky and hardtack?"

Felid:
"Need to cook food. Underground also may be dark."

Xie Li:
"Fire will attract things."

Amadeus Bosch:
"Non-perishables are a priority."

Felid:
"Okay. No fire. Hmmmm…"

Xie Li:
"You know what else is nonperishable? My love for mew. Amewdeus."

Amadeus Bosch:
"Please be serious for once. We are discussing our survival."

Xie Li:
"I am, I just solved the problem for casting light."
"Why don't we start making a list, though? Just so we don't forget anything."

Amadeus Bosch:
"I have some parchment with me. Everyone please make your suggestions and I will write them down."
Amadeus digs through his back, pulling out a piece of parchment and a fountain pen that were neatly stored in a soft leather case.

Xie Li:
"We need to eat, sleep, and drink. How many of us have bedrolls on us?"

Felid:
"Felid have 1."

Xie Li:
"As do I."

Amadeus Bosch:
"I don't. I assume everyone else does, as they travel." Amadeus scribbles down 'one bedroll.'

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "I have a blanket. That will likely suffice."
Nadredda: "I too have bedroll."

Xie Li:
"I have, like, a day's worth of rations. Do we have a good estimate of how long we'll be down there?"

Amadeus Bosch:
"How far do you believe you'll be able and willing to walk in a day?

Xie Li:
"We're as fast as our slowest walker, I think that might be up to you. No offense."

[And XIE LI really means "no offense"]

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "I currently have only two days' worth of rations on me."
Nadredda: "I having ten of thosse. I would be willing to sshare?"

Amadeus Bosch:
"Fair point. I never claimed to be athletic, nor am I nearly seven feet tall." Amadeus scribbles 'months worth of rations? a fortnight?'

Xie Li:
[XIE LI looks over AMEWDEUS' SHOULDER.]

"Dear gods, I hope that's not serious Amewdeus. Why don't we aim for 10 days?"

Amadeus Bosch:
"If we get stuck down there, dying of starvation is not the way you want to go."
"Though it seems everyone is willing to share, so I suppose a fortnights worth of food is all we need to worry about buying."

Felid:
"Felid have 10 days of rations."

The Narrator:
Nadredda: "But how would we carrying so much food? Food for 3 mealss a day iss not light."

Xie Li:
"Okay, how many days' worth do we have… 5 plus 10 plus 10 plus 2…"

Amadeus Bosch:
"Perfect. That would be…five and a half days of food with five of us."

Xie Li:
"17 days, then. Split between four- no, five? We get three each."
"You know math is stupid."

Felid:
"Math funny."

The Narrator:
Nadredda: "When you mathss it out it doess sseem like not much."

Xie Li:
"Funny lil number piles."

Amadeus Bosch:
"There is a magic shop nearby, and with the payment up front I believe we can afford a bag of holding."

Xie Li:
"Why don't we even it to four each, since 17 is a weird number."

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus throws his hands in the air. "That is what I've been saying all along!"

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "A bag of holding sounds like a useful investment. We can use it to store as much food as we could need, and any treasure we may find in Undermountain. Zenobia didn't say we weren't entitled to whatever we found down there."

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus' eyes light up at her realization. "Exactly. Thank you, Luthienye."

The Narrator:
Nadredda frowns and says. "Alsso, kitty? 17? You forgetting an entire 10. It's 27 dayss of food right now sso like… about 5 dayss for each of uss."

Xie Li:
"Oh fish. I guess countin' on my beans isn't that helpful."

Felid:
Felid is busy trying to learn how to count with her fingers with all the ruckus about Math.

Xie Li:
"So we need like what, three more for it to still not be a weird number? 7 is a weird number, nothing divides into it properly."

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "Besides, it's not like Undermountain is owned by anybody. What, are we going to be sued by the ghost of Halaster Blackcloak?" she chuckles.

Xie Li:
"Anarchy mountain! I am the catking of the hills!"

Amadeus Bosch:
"I still think we should aim for at least a weeks worth of food for all of us, maybe more. Who knows if we'll get into fights down there. And then have a nice feast with lots of dessert when we get back." Amadeus mostly mumbles the last part to himself.

Xie Li:
"I heard that."
"You're nyadorable."

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "Oh we will almost certainly get into fights. Who knows what kind of creepy-crawlies could have moved in over the last few decades, and what remain of Blackcloak's defenses. After all, one does not build a dungeon with the intent of it being broken into."

Xie Li:
"…….What if we ate the creepy crawlies."

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "You could certainly try. It would be amusing to watch."

Xie Li:
"Okay, remind me to bite into something when we get down there."

Amadeus Bosch:
"I wouldn't be surprised if eating bugs came along with Xie Li's other feline behavior. So, is the food matter settled? What about potions, magic, armor?"

Felid:
"Is possible."

Xie Li:
"Amewdeus needs kitten padding."

Amadeus Bosch:
"It's called light armor. You wear it too."

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "I think I'm about as set as I can be already. I could maybe invest in some sturdier metal armor, but all the clinking just wouldn't do."
Nadredda: "I have sspellss to protecting me, no armor required. Maybe need ingredientss sso I can making potionss."

Xie Li:
"I'm hardier."
"Okay, potions are a good thing. Maybe some health stuff because healing Amewdeus all the time does wear that out a bit."

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "I can also heal. What luck that I am here, no?"

Xie Li:
"Luthienya, we love and appreciate mew."

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus was about to argue, but the reminder that he is the one that, in all their battles, is mostly likely to get the most injured made him shut up in a huff.
"That we do. You've saved us before."

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "Thank you, you're very kind. So! Let's review: we're looking to invest in a bag of holding, as well as buying more rations, enough for each of us to have food for the next week, and we would like to look at the potential of buying armor/weapons. Oh, and ingredients for potions. Am I missing anything?"

Amadeus Bosch:
"Don't forget water. That's more important than food."

Xie Li:
“I doubt the cleanliness of underground water.”

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "Ah yes, I'd nearly forgotten. We probably aren't likely to find much drinkable water in Undermountain, but never fear for I have a solution."

Xie Li:
“Maybe there’s a magic solution?”
:D

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "I don't have it prepared right now, but if we take the rest of the day to collect supplies and rest up, I can procure a spell that will create 10 gallons of water for us. More than enough, I think."

Felid:
Felid nods.

Xie Li:
“Oh yum.”

Amadeus Bosch:
"That would be…four days worth of water, if we all drink 8 cups a day."

Xie Li:
"Well, including resting up,"

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "Well, it's not like I can't cast the spell multiple times."

Xie Li:
"Ay same thought Luthi."

[XIE LI raises a PAW for a HIGH-FIVE.]

The Narrator:
Luthienye high-fives Xie Li.
Luthienye: "So, the plan is we spend today shopping and getting the necessary supplies for an extended underground trip, and we rest up and depart tomorrow. I'll be able to completely handle our water situation."

Xie Li:
"Heck yeah!"

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus nods. "Alright. Where to first?"

Xie Li:
"Should we split up, maybe?"

The Narrator:
Nadredda: "Nadredda wanting bag of holding! But of coursse, decission is up to you. Or ssplitting alsso workss."

Xie Li:
"We need the rations, the spell materials, Amewdeus needs a bedroll, and probably some better fighting gear. Who wants to handle what?"

Felid:
"Hmmm…Felid focus on rations."

The Narrator:
Nadredda: "Nadredda can handling spell componentss and potion ingredientss. Nadredda doess not knowing what sspellss you are all capable of casst or what you need sspecifically, sso pleasse make lisst."

Xie Li:
"I'm more of a passive spell caster; silence, suggestion, light, healing. I have two offensive spells, but one I can't really guarantee the use of."

Amadeus Bosch:
"I don't need anything for spellcasting, no. Thank you for the offer. Shall we tally up the costs and split evenly or just pay for what we need?"

The Narrator:
Nadredda :"I would only needing componentss for to casst Identify, in casse we run into sstrange and myssteriouss itemss. And ingredientss for healing potion…"
Luthienye: "I could cast Augury, a spell that would help predict our fates. Divination magic's not really my strong suit, but I dabble every now and again. I'd need to buy some specially marked tokens or bones to roll."

Xie Li:
"Ooo, fun."

The Narrator:
Nadredda: "A bag of holding could cossting uss up to 500 gold, unlessss we can haggle price down… Even with Mss. Sshadowdussk'ss donation, I would not be able to afford one on my own. We will need to make ssure ssomeone having at least 500 gold on them who will buy bag of holding."

Amadeus Bosch:
"We could stop by the bank and convert some of our platinum into gold?"

The Narrator:
Nadredda: "Platinum and gold iss interchangeable, no? I mean yess we have a lot of it, but change can always be given. Or someone can just bringing 50 platinum to give for bag of holding. It iss ssame thing, no?"

Xie Li:
"We are NOT going to a bank- this is adventure errands not boring errands."

Amadeus Bosch:
Amadeus nods. "Xie Li have the largest amount of gold at the moment. Try asking them first."

Xie Li:
"I totally do not feel like going to a bank unless someone goes with me and also I am not into those bank fees."

Amadeus Bosch:
"Which is why you should use your gold you already have on you."

The Narrator:
Nadredda: "I can giving Xie Li my 25 platinum and they can go and getting uss a bag of holding. Kitty iss sso cute, sshopkeeper will ssimply have to lowering price."

Xie Li:
[XIE LI makes the POG FACE.]

Amadeus Bosch:
"Alright. Who will handle the armor and weaponry?"

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "Well let's see, current jobs are: Nadredda's on potion ingredients and spell components, Xie Li's on bag of holding duty. We need someone to buy food, and someone to buy weapons and armor. Was there a fifth job to do or will someone just be loitering/tagging along?"

Xie Li:
"Whoever is going to get armor and stuff should bring a buddy. That stuff's not light."

Amadeus Bosch:
"You're right. I suppose I will take over ration duty then."

The Narrator:
Luthienye turns to Felid. "I guess that means it's us on armor and weapons?"

Felid:
"Felid is down to help with armor and weapons!"

The Narrator:
Luthienye: "Alright, that's settled then. Let's all depart and take to our assigned duties."

Nadredda: "Oh, Luthie, could you ssparing some platinum? I gave Xie Li money for bag of holding and forgot I needed to buy… what wass it, 100 gold of pearl, and 25 gold of tokenss."

Luthienye: "Well, how much gold do you have currently?"

Nadredda: "Er… 59."

Luthienye: "I can spare 6 platinum and 6 gold; that should be enough."

Nadredda: "Thank you. Will be leaving now."
